Giants over Pats

From Coach Eric:

I know we’re about baseball on this website, but as sports fans you had to have watched one of the best played Superbowl football games tonight regardless of who you wanted to win.

Frankly, I was pulling for the GIANTS.  I pull for underdogs frequently because I realize that I have been given several opportunities as an underdog myself.

So, let’s hear it…are you dissappointed or going crazy about the GIANTS win over the Pats?

Way to go Giants and Eli! What a fun game to watch.

I was pulling for the Patriots to win, but thought it was a well played game. The Giants’ defense was very impressive. Eli Manning played with a lot more confidence than I thought he would too. Congrats to the Giants for a well earned Championship!

I was pulling for the underdog Giants also. I did’t particularly care about either team early in the season. Naturally, I was disappointed in the Pats with the whole spygate deal… but, ultimately, I got behind the Giants for one big reason. Passion. I’m sure the Pats had it too – but there’s was more hidden… it was attached to the expectation of winning. The Giants – especially their coach – were unashamed to show their excitment — and they just flat out got into it. Passion… if you believe in or want something, but don’t unapologetically and unashamedly show tremendous passion for it — then you don’t believe in it – for real… at least that’s how I feel. Yeah Giants!!!
Hey guys… I don’t go into our season believing we are necessarily the undderdog — but, I believe in ya’ll. I believe in the Hebron Angel’s. I am passionate about our season, about our team, about each one of you guys as young men – and young ball-players. I dream and daydream about it… and I can’t wait to put ya’ll in play come gametime. Goo Angel’s!!!!!!!

It was a great game… I wanted the Patriots to win, but must give the Giants credit for having a great defensive plan and playing an excellent game. I didn’t think Eli had what it took to lead the game winning drive at the end of the game. He proved me wrong. Congrats to the Giants for an impressive championship!

I do agree with coach Eric about this beacuase I to have been the underdog. But, i rooted for the Giants because one, mannings have history with the SEC his brother, Peyton, has history with Tennessee. Plus, I like a little change so having someone else win was nice.

I was pulling for the Giants all the way through the playoffs after my Colts got eliminated. I thought it was cool that Peyton was there cheering on his brother the whole time. I thought is was really cool what Plaxico Burress said at the end of the game when he gave credit to God for his performance. Wasn’t it ironic how Eli won the SuperBowl the year after his older brother Peyton did.

I was pulling for the Giants because they came out with more confidence then the Pats. For example like what happened with us and Grayson Blue last year, we came out thinking we had that in the bag and we ended up losing both games. Same thing happened with the Pats facing the Giants.

I was rooting for the giants all the way. My dad had no confidence in the giants and he was all for the partriots. I think it was poor sportsmanship when the pats just walked of the field. After the game coach Belichick just told his team to go home.
